Q: Is Guitar the right instrument for me?
A: It depends on your preference. But if the sound of acoustic guitar attracts you and you love the rhythmic aspects of music and simply love to roll your fingers to create that wonderful music, it’s definitely a great instrument for you.
Q: I am not familiar with basics of music and never played an instrument. Can I still learn to play guitar?
A: Like any other skills, you can start learning guitar from scratch without any knowledge to music as long as you have the willingness to learn. I have designed this course for music lovers who have little to zero knowledge about any instrument.
Q: How long it will take to learn the guitar?
A: It entirely depends on the amount of time you spend practicing. If you practice consistently by following the instructions provided in the sessions, average an hour a day or so, usually you would be able to play music within a few months.
Q: Should we learn to play rhythm or melody?
A: Once again, it’s a personal preference. Many people like to focus on Chords and rhythm. This is usually preferred by people who like to sing while playing. While some other people like to play the melody. Once you acquire the speed and accuracy of finger movements along the fret, you would be able to enjoy this style as well.
Q: What kind of guitar shall I buy?
A: For someone who is going to play for the first time, I would recommend getting a Yamaha or Gibson guitar, not the expensive ones. These may cost as little as $200 or so. There is no need to buy super expensive guitar in the beginning. As you start developing the skills, you would be able to figure out the best guitar for you.
